If it’s been a while since your piano has been tuned, you will most likely need a tuning and pitch raise. If a pitch raise is needed beyond 15 cents, I will advise and there will be additional fees. My pitch raise can be done in the first appointment with no requirement for followup appointments.
At your first tuning I will measure your piano pitch and inspect the action, strings, soundboard and every aspect of your piano. I will provide you with a written condition report. My first tuning will take a little more time because I will stabilize the piano to A440, adjust your pedals, lubricate the action as needed as ease your keys. This will lay a solid foundation for the stability and future care of your piano. This condition report will help you understand the current condition of your piano and includes quotes and suggestions for the future care of your piano.
